Inside Sales/Customer Service Professional

McKernan Packaging Clearing House is expanding our sales staff in our Reno location. Due to a growing market, McKernan is in need of highly-motivated, positive Inside Sales/Customer Service representatives to join our team! McKernan provides leads and training for all sales staff.

• Live in the northern Nevada area.

Responsibilities:

• Handling inbound and outbound sales calls, emails and web requests with current and potential customers from around the world.
• Following up on sales leads that are generated by current sales lists, inbound calls and website requests.
• Generating new and repeat sales, by recommending appropriate products, cross-selling and up-selling.
• Being customer-focused, professional, and courteous.
• Following through with each sale from the beginning to the end, including regular follow-ups.
• Maintaining current customer files.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Command of the English language, both oral & written
• Microsoft Word and Outlook experience
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm
• Basic math skills
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and dependability a must

These are Pluses:

• Two years of customer service or inside sales experience
• Experience with CRM or other database programs
• Bilingual
• Associate Degree or higher
